We’re so excited to team up with Apparoo – the fun app discovery resource for busy moms!
Each week, we will be sharing and promoting their latest App of the Week, including amazing discounts or freebies for you guys. 🙂 Often, the freebies or discounts will be temporary, so make sure to check the site every Thursday to not miss your opportunity!
Mommies – this is your chance to learn about the best apps for you and your kids! We would love to hear your feedback on the app if you download it, on other types of apps that could spike your interest, and any thoughts you may have. Let’s start with week #1’s Apparoo App of the Week:
Rio Read and Play (The official app for the Movie)
Shake your tailfeathers and join blue macaws Blu and Jewel for a colorful read-along adventure set in Rio de Janeiro. This delightful app, featuring characters from the popular animated film Rio, will appeal to fans of the film and newcomers alike. The narrated storybook will encourage your child’s reading skills, the coloring tools will foster their artistic talent – and the bonus activities will grant you peace and quiet over at least two extra states on your next cross-country flight. A feast for the senses, this bright, fun-filled app is like a tiny little Brazilian vacation on your iPad! Download it here.

Oh what fun! I can’t wait to bring the girls to see this movie. I’m gonna download the app for them before we go!
My daughter really likes the Rio movie. Will check out the app, as I’m sure, that she would love it too.
This will be another hit Apps for mobile because of it is timely appearance and I see that it is another puzzle color combining game but with some added features so this will be great, I am going to check this out.
Awesome app!! I love giveaways and freebies.. My 3 years old son will love this app for sure! Shared!
After seeing this post, my son saw me reading it, we downloaded it on the kindle right away. He loves RIO and we can’t wait to see the movie. I had not thought of looking for a RIO app until your post and now we have it. Love that it was a free app!
That looks like such a fun app. My daughter loves that movie.
Hmmm… do you know if it is available on anything other than the iPad? I’d love to get it for myself (shhh!) I think I’m more excited to see Rio 2 than my kids are!
Sounds like a fun app! Will have to check if it’s available for Android, too. 🙂
Looks like a nice app for the little ones! Great way to keep them occupied on long lines.

We haven’t seen the trailer of this movie, so I cannot if my kids would love this one.. we’ll see about that when they got to know what Rio is all about 🙂
