We have completed the week #8 of picture book reading challenge and here are the books we read!
The concept of the challenge is to read minimum 5-6 picture books a week to your kids, so that in the end of the year, you have enjoyed around 300 new books. As we started the challenge in the end of February, I should read minimum 220 books/stories to Sofia.
1. Hunt ja 7 kitsetalle (The Wolf & 7 Little Goats)
2. The Little Red Hen
3. La ratita presumida
4. El flautista de Hamelín
5. Alí Babá y los 40 ladrones
6. 101 Dálmatas
7. Beauty & the Beast

These books are fantastic! Loved them as a kid, and until now. 🙂
It is great to see books in Estonian mentioned in this challenge and I just now figured it out – its because one of the author of this blog is Estonian 😀 I´m so blonde 😀
There is something special about curling up with a child and reading to them and watch the look of wonder and excitement on their faces.
I love reading with my kids! While we are slowly outgrowing the picture books we are now curling up and reading chapter books for their ages every night before bed. What a great bonding time!
Sounds like a great selection, these are classics.
Love these books. These will be in my book library soon! Right now I read to my son, soon he’ll be reading to me.
This Looks Really Great I Love Reading To My Kids Thank You!
I read that many books to my son. He loves it and it does have so many benefits.
Alí Babá y los 40 ladrones and Beauty and Beast reminds me of my childhood
It is so nice that you included Beauty and the Beast and also the 101 Dalmatians in this selection because they are some of my all time favorite kiddie stories.
