We have completed the week #2 of picture book reading challenge and here are the books we read!
The concept of the challenge is to read minimum 5-6 picture books a week to your kids, so that in the end of the year, you have enjoyed around 300 new books. As we started the challenge in the end of February, I should read minimum 220 books/stories to Sofia.
1. ¡Caramba con los amigos!
2. Penélope en la escuela
3. ¡No quiero comer!
4. Lucas y Oso
5. ¡No quiero hacer pipí en el orinal!
6. Toco y descubro
7. Un día en el zoo

Wow! You’re entering your third week already! Can’t wait to see what books you’ll be reading in the coming weeks. 🙂
Great challenge! As an elementary school teacher there is nothing more important then reading to your child!
I love seeing parents that are reading with their children—I have to admit I had a well stocked children’s library before I even had kids. Last year we passed on two full totes of “baby” books to my niece to make more room on our book shelves for the books my kids enjoy now.
What an excellent challenge. We have hundreds of kids’ books filling book shelves all over the house, all of them well read and well loved. I hope you reach 300 ahead of schedule.
Isa & Davey can sit for hours and listen to books. I think Dawn reading to them is one reason isa is a excellent reader.
Lots of lovely books I’ve not heard of, although I have heard of Penelope 🙂 Thank-you for linking up with #300PBs.
That is such an awesome thing to do for your child!
