I’m a big fan of ice cream, plain old vanilla is my absolute favorite! I also adore Häagen-Dazs ice creams – Chocolate Salted Caramel and Macadamia Nut Brittle are so delicious but also pricey!
During the summer time, my daughter asks for ice cream daily. I have to admit that we always have some ice cream in the freezer, but it does not mean that I approve her eating treats daily. After going paleo, I have cut out all ice cream from my menu, and I do prefer that my family would eat healthy too. But, on the other hand, I think it’s injustice to not eat ice cream daily during the summer!
The solution to this problem was much easier to find than I thought. We started making our own popsicles. They have fewer additives and sugar the store bought ice creams have and they taste super great. My daughter is happy and I can enjoy a sweet treat too without the guilt.
Making popsicles is really easy and there is an infinity of combinations to try. Just start experimenting! If you need some help, start from these delicious homemade popsicles.

I do love a cold treat in the summer but I certainly don’t need the extra sugar! Thank you for these starter recipes-now I just have to get the molds.
I make my own popsicles or I don’t eat them. The ones you buy have sugar in them and I can’t do sugar.
The strawberry sundae pops look especially appetizing to me! I want to try them all though!
I love homemade pops! I think those strawberry kiwi spritzers have my name written all over them!
Those whipped coconut ones look great. I will have to make those soon.
Thanks for the roundup! I love popsicles and so does my daughter
This is a great list and I’m checking out several of them. We make our own popsicles, too, but usually just freeze juice. My boys will love some variety.
