Welcome to my beautiful (and chaotic, and very high up) city of La Paz, Bolivia! A city that is 3650m -4000m above sea level (12000ft – 13100ft), in the midst of the Andes Mountains. A city that has no business being built here, since this is not a practical spot to build any city. A city that is growing and evolving every day, and where the weather can be like having all 4 seasons in one day. An absolutely stunning city where everywhere you look, you see massive mountains and volcanoes. This is my city of La Paz. Enjoy my little online tour! 🙂
LA PAZ
A city that touches the clouds:
Where the pigeons have no shame!
Where you use lifts to go up the mountains.
Where every street is a workout.
A city that is just one huge outside market…
Where “clock-wise” is re-defined for the Southern Hemisphere:
A city where you can find the most breathtaking views wherever you go:
That’s my beautiful city! 🙂 Thanks for taking a look.
Wow! La Paz looks like an amazing city! I’d love to visit one day! Really love the mountains and the street markets look great too!
I had never heard of La Paz but it is certainly beautiful there if your pictures are any indication. I am not sure I would want to visit there–I would never make it up and down anf then back up those streets.
That is so beautiful. I could not imagine walking up those streets – you are right they are definitely a workout.
Wow!!! Looks like a really beautiful place.
You live in a very beautiful city and I can spend hours in that market. I hope O can visit Bolivia some day.
